Understand validation and approval.

Approval is separate

Passing the checks confirms validation against the supported conditions. It does not establish regulatory compliance or complete a separate approval process. Whether it needs a supervisor, and how many steps that takes, is configured per request type in your instance.

Hours follow the shift

A swap can affect banked hours and overtime balances. Review the applicable working-time and payroll settings when configuring the workflow.
