Platform · Attendance

Planned time. Recorded time. Reconciled.

Compare clocking entries with expected attendance and approved absences. Supervisors review the differences before the records feed reporting and payroll.

Time capture

Bring device, manual and remote entries together.

Device integration

A configured access-control connector imports device events as approved entries. Compatibility and setup are scoped for your deployment. Duplicate scans within 120 seconds are flagged.

Manual entries

Employees can add a missed clocking event. Administrators and supervisors can enter it on their behalf.

Remote clocking

Clock in or out on mobile. Conflict checks keep remote and on-premise entries from overlapping within the same shift.

Route time entries through the right approval.

Only approved entries count towards presence and worked time. Pending entries stay visible for review.

Manual entries

Own-time entries require another reviewer, including entries made by a global administrator. An administrator’s entry for another employee is auto-approved; a supervisor’s entry for their team requires a separate approval.

Remote entries

Remote clock-ins are normally auto-approved. A remote clock-out becomes Pending when more than nine hours have elapsed since the latest clock-in. Exactly nine hours remains within the automatic-approval threshold.

Device synchronisation

Keep reviewed corrections through device sync.

Each reader syncs separately and catches up after reconnecting. Entries changed by a person are preserved.

An employee’s edit returns their device entry to Pending. The supervisor approves the correction or rejects it to restore the original reading.

Compare expected and recorded attendance.

Mandatory periods define when an employee is expected to be present, based on tactical working slots and duties that require attendance tracking. Gaps require reconciliation with the attendance and approved leave or duty record.

Future periods

Change the future schedule, and expected attendance updates with it.

Past or current periods

Changes to periods already started require supervisor approval or rejection, because they affect attendance and payroll calculations.

The calculation accounts for lunch breaks, overnight shifts and approved shift extensions. Overlaps with approved leave or duty require the corresponding workflow.

Review queue

Resolve gaps in the review queue.

The Timesheet view compares the schedule, attendance, mandatory periods, leave and duty for each employee and day. Justifications lists gaps that need review. Supervisors can disregard an invalid clocking event while retaining it in the record.

The mobile app gives staff access to their entries and absence justifications. Payroll export uses the resulting approved time records.
