Keep controller qualifications, supporting records and currency thresholds connected to scheduling. Use current eligibility when planning shifts and allocating working positions.
Validity
Record medical checks, completed training and other requirements. Set an expiry period or permanent validity, with conditional periods where your policy requires them.
Connect each licence or rating to its requirements. Validity depends on its own dates and the requirements behind it.
The rostering engine uses qualification status when evaluating assignments. An expired requirement can make its linked qualification invalid for scheduling. This updates the system’s eligibility calculation; it does not itself revoke a licence issued by an authority.
Assign qualifications to the units where they apply. Link implied qualifications where their scopes match.
Configure minimum days or hours over rolling periods. Relevant scheduling rules evaluate these thresholds when planning assignments.
Set a suspension period and record the reason, for selected qualifications or all of them.
Training
Mark trainee status by qualification and track accumulated training hours, with an optional link to an external training record.
Identify staff who can supervise training for a qualification. Pair trainees with instructors in strategic planning and allocate eligible positions tactically.
Define mentoring periods for specific qualifications. During the support period, the employee is excluded from independent assignment on those qualifications.
Scan valid, expired and expiring qualifications across selected units in the Qualification Matrix. Filter reports for records already expired or due within 30 days.
Expiry notifications support follow-up with the responsible team. Qualification reporting also includes tactical hours over the last 60 and 365 days.
Records
Recorded changes include before-and-after values for qualification and requirement settings. Customer-facing history is part of Audit & History, included in SkyHeavy or available as an add-on.
