It’s a wrap! A part of the dedicated JLG Consulting team has just returned from an incredible three-day journey at Airspace World 2025 in Lisbon, where we proudly showcased our product — SkyRoster. The event served as a global meeting point for innovation, collaboration, and thought leadership in the aviation industry. It provided the perfect stage for us to demonstrate how SkyRoster is reshaping workforce scheduling — and to connect with ATM professionals who share our vision for a safer, smarter, and more resilient airspace.
Making an Impact: Our Presence and Performance

From the moment the event kicked off, our team was ready to deliver real value — and we did just that:
28 live demos of SkyRoster in action, tailored to real-world operational needs;
14 targeted Rostering Optimisation Sessions, each focused on tackling specific challenges faced by ANSPs;
100+ branded goodies shared, sparking conversations and smiles with air traffic management professionals from all over the world.
Throughout the event, our booth — Stand H2878 — became a go-to destination for attendees eager to explore how rostering automation can elevate ATM operations. From compliance assurance and fatigue risk mitigation to smarter planning and real-time adaptability, our solution resonated with professionals across the board.
Understanding the Challenges: What ANSPs Are Facing
In dozens of insightful conversations, we heard a clear and consistent message: Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs) are under pressure. Common challenges include chronic staff shortages, increasing regulatory complexity, and the urgent need to manage fatigue without compromising coverage. Many organisations still rely on legacy systems or manual methods that are no longer fit for purpose in today’s operational context. These discussions confirmed that the need for rostering automation is not just timely — it’s essential. SkyRoster was built for this, offering constraint-based optimisation, compliance-first scheduling, and the flexibility to adapt to real-time changes.
Thought Leadership That Mattered

A key highlight of our participation was Florin Mijea’s presentation at the Frequentis Theatre, titled “Strengthening ATM Safety Through Smart Scheduling.” His talk explored:
How constraint-based rostering directly reduces fatigue and increases operational safety
The role of automation in ensuring resilience during staffing disruptions
Real-world best practices for transitioning to automated, intelligent workforce planning
Florin’s insights sparked meaningful conversations and highlighted SkyRoster’s pivotal role in advancing safer, more efficient Air Traffic Management through intelligent workforce scheduling.

Team Energy, Lisbon Magic

But Airspace World 2025 wasn’t just about business — it was also about team connection and celebrating our shared mission. The SkyRoster team brought energy, creativity, and passion to every conversation. Outside the expo floor, we explored the beautiful streets of Lisbon, enjoyed the city’s rich culture, and, of course, savored delicious meals together. The memories made there will fuel our collaboration and drive us for months to come.
What’s Next: From Lisbon to the World
We’re leaving Lisbon with more than just leads — we’re bringing home insights, momentum, and motivation. And we’re not slowing down. Next stop: Hong Kong. We're continuing our mission to modernise workforce scheduling across the global ATM community.
