When the roster outgrows the spreadsheet

Keep records connected

Check how employee details and qualification changes reach the roster. Identify the source of each record, who maintains it and how eligibility is reviewed before assignment.

A dedicated system can connect these records with planning. Any integration with an existing HR system needs its own scope and validation.

Leave and requests

Follow a request from submission to approval and its effect on availability and balances. Count the hand-offs and duplicate updates required by the current process.

A shared workflow can make status easier to follow, but the organisation still needs clear approval responsibilities.

Demand and roster generation
